As your Health Coach, my primary goal is to provide you with evidence-based nutrition practices to support your health. To achieve this, I've compiled a comprehensive set of resources, including a 45-minute video and a PDF booklet containing short, detailed articles covering various aspects of creating a healthy diet.  See above.

Each section of the booklet begins with an introductory page featuring a blue square book icon, which serves as a quick reference to the contents of that section. This layout allows you to quickly overview the topics covered. The booklet resources have been meticulously curated to ensure accuracy and relevance. The video goes through the main points of the booklet that I feel are vital for a healthy diet.

Some key points highlighted in the video and booklet emphasize that food doesn't operate in isolation. It's essential to consider the composition of your meals, prioritizing vegetables/fruits, healthy proteins, healthy fats, and whole grains. These components form the foundation of a balanced plate, crucial for optimal performance and weight management. In particular, attention is drawn to the importance of including calcium in the diet, especially for women. Low-fat dairy products are highlighted as a valuable source of calcium, vitamin D, and protein. If you're unsure about protein options, consider low-fat Greek yogurt or cottage cheese as alternatives. Furthermore, sections focusing on fatty fish and fish oil provide additional insights into essential nutrients and their benefits.
